Whaling Winds

Poised alongside Madaket Harbor on the west end of the Island, Whaling Winds stands as a Homestead to this longtime, passionate Nantucket Summer family. Changing needs of the family required additional space and a renewed vision for this spectacular compound set between the Island’s most colorful sunsets and vast, open, conservation lands just beyond the backyard. Drawing inspiration from the architecture set in motion some 30 years earlier by Lyman Perry, we capitalized on the home’s strongest stylistic elements and furthered them with meticulously crafted new curved elements, expanded views, luxe materials and interior finishes paired with an increased connection between the home and its natural landscape. Assembling a talented Team of seasoned professionals to assist with the delivery of every detail, our scope included renovations to the house, guest house, garage, and landscape.
