Surf Break
Surf Break
A re-imagining of the family's island property at large, this compound project sought to expand the privacy for each part of the growing family while creating a central gathering space for the generations to gather. The original family home was supplemented by a new dwelling, a two-story cabana with a home office, a centrally located pool and spa with outdoor kitchen and dining space, and a two-car "party barn." The family's close connection with the South Shore meant a casual living, coastal farmhouse approach made for the perfect retreat after a day of sun and surf. Inside, tactile finishes, repurposed oak beams, and a neutral-natural scheme with black accents create visually stunning, yet livable, interiors.
